Job summary

XPO Logistics at Lutterworth is recruiting a full-time Class 1 HGV Night driver. You will work 48 guaranteed hours per week on the Monday to Friday night shift, starting at 18:00. The role involves opening sites to offload goods and returning loads to secure the site.

Applicants must hold LGV/HGV Class 1 entitlement, CPC and Digital Tachograph, and have no more than six points (no DD/DR). An FLT licence is advantageous, with training available.

Qualifications

• LGV/HGV Class 1 entitlement is required.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph card must be held.
• No more than six points and no DD/DR endorsements.
• FLT licence is a plus and training may be provided.
• Good knowledge of the UK road network is essential.

Responsibilities

• Open each site to offload goods.
• Load returns on the vehicle and secure the site.
• Operate on a 48-hour weekly schedule, nights, start 18:00.

Are you an HGV driver fed up with not knowing when you’re working next, or when your work will die down? Then look no further - XPO Logistics are recruiting! We’re looking for a full-time, permanent Class 1 HGV Night driver to join us at our site at Lutterworth. You will be working on one of our contracts delivering car part to dealerships.

You’ll be working 48 guaranteed hours per week on the Monday to Friday night shift, with start time 1800.

In return for your hard work, we’ll offer you a competitive basic salary of £ £38440.20

What You’ll Do On a Typical Day

• You will be responsible for opening each site to offload the goods


• Returns to be loaded on the vehicle before the site is once again secured by yourself
