Job summary

ADR Network is recruiting for HGV Class 1 drivers for long-term assignments with XPO Logistics in Hatfield. Ongoing temporary work with a choice of full-time, part-time and weekend shifts, plus immediate starts.

You will perform depot-to-depot runs and store deliveries to major food retailers, with 4–5 drops per shift and full induction training to ensure safety and efficiency from day one. Shifts run days, nights and weekends with a pay scale from £19.98 to £29.67 per hour (PAYE).

ADR Network is currently recruiting professional HGV Class 1 drivers for long-term opportunities with XPO Logistics in Hatfield.

Pay Rates (PAYE)

• Days:From £19.98 per hour
• Nights:From £21.19 per hour
• Weekends:£23.62 – £29.67 per hour
• Holiday pay accrued separately

The Role

Ongoing temporary assignments delivering dairy products, including:

• Depot-to-depot runs
• Store deliveries to major food retailers
• 4–5 drops per shift (route dependent)
• Manual handling required at each drop
• You’ll receive a full induction and training to ensure you’re confident, safe, and efficient from day one.

Shift Patterns

• Start times: 00:01–05:00 or 13:00–22:00
• Average shift length: 10–12 hours
• Operation runs 7 days a week
• Flexible patterns available — tell us what works for you

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 6 months’ recent HGV driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
