Job summary

Royal Mail currently seeks a skilled HGV Class 1 driver to support trunking operations across national routes. The role offers organised, planned routes with morning, evening and weekend shifts, ensuring reliable, professional service for the organisation.

Candidates should hold a Class 1 / CE licence (2 years), a valid CPC and a digital Tachograph card, plus 180 recent Class 1 days and up to 6 points. Vetting and DBS checks are required.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 / CE licence held for 2 years.
• Valid and in-date CPC.
• Digital Tachograph card held.
• 180 days of Class 1 driving in the last 2 years.
• Maximum 6 points on licence.
• Able to pass vetting and DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Trunking between Royal Mail depots.
• No handballing – organised, planned routes.
• Morning, evening and weekend shifts available.
• Transport mail between national sites.
• Complete vehicle checks and uphold safety.
• Follow scheduled routes with precision.

The Job

Key Responsibilities

What You Need

• Valid HGV Class 1 / CE licence (held for 2 years)
• A valid and in date CPC
• Digital Tachograph card
• 180 days of Class 1 driving experience in the last 2 years
• Max 6 points on your licence
• Able to pass vetting & DBS checks
