Job summary

GI Group are recruiting HGV drivers for an ongoing role in Chelmsford (CM2). The position runs Monday to Friday with shifts starting around 09:30, paying £18.33 per hour and £24.54 per hour after 40 hours, with PAYE and holiday pay included.

Responsibilities include vehicle pre-checks, 10 deliveries/collections, loading, and efficient workload management to meet deadlines. Applicants should have 12+ months Class 1 or 2 licences and Tachograph/CPC qualifications. Privacy statement applies.

Qualifications

• 12 months+ Class 1 or Class 2 licence.
• Valid Tachograph and CPC qualifications.
• No more than 6 penalty points; no DD/IN/DR/DN/TT endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle pre-checks.
• Make 10 deliveries/collections to clients/depots.
• Scan and load own vehicle.
• Prioritise workload to meet time commitments.
