Job summary

HG Recruitment is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for store deliveries and long-distance trunking based in Runcorn. Immediate starts with days and nights, minimum 10 hours paid per shift and shift premiums.

You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 / LGV C+E licence, CPC, tachograph card, and up to 6 points. The role includes trunking to Scotland, multi-drop deliveries, vehicle checks, and adherence to drivers' hours regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 / LGV C+E licence.
• Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Driver CPC.
• Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements.
• Good knowledge of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations.
• Good national geographical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Store deliveries and multi-drop deliveries.
• Long-distance trunking, nights trunking to Scotland.
• Deliver within agreed delivery windows.
• Carry out vehicle checks and report defects.
• Work safely and follow company procedures.
• Provide a professional and reliable service to customers.

HGV Class 1/ LGV C+E Drivers Runcorn

10 Hours Min Paid | Shift Premiums | Breaks Paid

Days & Nights | Immediate starts

We are looking for professional Class 1 Drivers for a mixture of store deliveries and long-distance trunking, with regular ongoing work, planned shifts and a minimum of 10 hours' pay guaranteed per shift.

Pay Rates:

Days

• £16.68 £18.08 Per Hour
• 6th Shift - £20.00 Per Hour

Shift Premiums

• Shift Premium band 1 (00:03 02:59) - £12.00 Per Shift
• Shift Premium band 2 (03:00 03:59) - £9.50 - Per Shift
• Shift Premium band 3 (04:00 04:59) - £4.69 - Per Shift
• Shift Premium band 4 (16:00 00:02) - £14.08 - Per Shift
• Shift Premium band 5 (11:00 15:59) - £6.69 - Per Shift

Weekend Rates

• Saturday: £18.04 per hour
• Sunday: £20.07 per hour

Overtime

• £20.80 per hour after 10.5 hours worked

Requirements
