Job summary

The Ashcourt Group is hiring HGV drivers to join our 8-wheel tipper fleet in Leeds. You will be contracted to 40 hours per week with overtime paid beyond 45 hours at £21.37 per hour.

Candidates must hold a valid HGV Cat C license and Tachograph card, have at least 1 year of HGV/tipper experience, a maximum of 6 points, and the right to work in the UK. Ashcourt Group offers training and a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid HGV Cat C license.
• Tachograph card is required.
• Minimum 1 year of HGV/Tipper driving experience.
• Maximum of 6 points on licence.
• Valid right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Cat C vehicles following all driver and traffic laws.
• Drive long or short distances as required.
• Plan schedules and routes with line manager.
• Follow traffic reports and adapt routes as necessary.
• Conduct pre-use defect/cleanliness inspections of vehicle.
• Complete proofs of deliveries on a tablet.
• Keep cab clean and tidy.

Salary:£14.25 per hour + Overtime paid at £21.37 per hour!

We are expanding our team and are currently hiring drivers to join our 8-wheel tipper fleet!

As an HGV Driver at Ashcourt, you will be contracted to work 40 hours per week. Overtime is paid at a rate of £21.37 per hour for any hours worked beyond the first 45.

Key responsibilities:

• To operate HGV Cat C vehicles, following all HGV driver & traffic laws
• To operate the vehicle safely and professionally
• To drive long or short distances as required
• To help plan schedules & routes with your line manager
• To follow traffic reports and adapt routes as necessary
• To conduct accurate & thorough pre-use defect/cleanliness inspections of your vehicle
• To complete proof of deliveries on a tablet
• To ensure vehicle cab is kept in a clean & tidy condition

As a Driver at Ashcourt, you will have:

• A valid HGV Cat C license
• Tachograph card
• A minimum of 1 years’ experience as a HGV/Tipper driver
• Maximum of 6 points on your licence
• Valid right to work in the UK
