Job summary

Algeco UK is seeking a driver to safely load/unload units at customer sites and transport modular buildings. You will operate HGV HIAB vehicles, deliver and collect units, and use the Hiab crane to load and unload, while ensuring paperwork is accurate and safety regulations are followed.

You will provide excellent customer service, report any vehicle defects, and work with the team to keep operations smooth. 45-hour week with overtime paid at time and a half.

Qualifications

• HGV driving licence held (Class 1/2).
• Qualified lorry loader operator (CSCS/ALLMI) is essential.
• Good understanding of EU driver hours, Working Time Directive and tachograph rules.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect modular buildings and containers from customer sites.
• Safely drive and operate HGV HIAB vehicles.
• Load/unload using the Hiab crane and ensure safe operations.
• Complete delivery/collection paperwork accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service on site.
• Report vehicle defects and collaborate with the team.

• Complete delivery/collection paperwork accurately
• Provide excellent customer service to customers

• Collaborate with team members for smooth operations
• Represent the company professionally at all timesMust have a HGV 1 or 2 Driver Licence with HIAB experience
• Qualified lorry loader operator (CSCS/ALLMI) is essential
