Job summary

Class 1 Personnel are recruiting a HGV2 Hiab Driver for a site in Bath on a temp to perm basis. You will deliver products to customer premises with a multi-drop route, providing excellent customer service and ensuring safe transport of freight as if it were your own.

Essential: HGV2 licence, CPC, Tacho Card, Hiab ALLMI certification, up to date driving record, and HIAB experience. Working Mon-Fri, 7am-4pm at £18.00ph. Temp to perm.

Qualifications

• Must hold full HGV2 licence.
• CPC card required.
• Tacho Card required.
• Hiab ALLMI certification is essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles safely and legally, complying with company requirements.
• Complete daily checks, report defects, and ensure correct paperwork.
• Observe all procedures and policies at all times.
• Plan routing to achieve premium and timed deliveries.
• Ensure PPE is in good order and used at all times.
• Handle customer issues politely and effectively.

Job description

Class 1 Personnel are working with a national client to recruit a HGV2 Hiab Driver for their site based in Bath, on a temp to perm contract. You will be delivering customers products to the required premises ensuring all customers receive exceptional customer service as part of a multi-drop delivery route. The driver will ensure that all products are transported safely to the customers premises, treating their freight as if it were their own.

Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain:

Experience needed for HGV2 Hiab Driver:

• Valid HGV 2 licence
• CPC card
• Tacho Card
• Valid Hiab ALLMI certificate

Essential Criteria for HGV2 Hiab Driver:

• Must hold full driving licence with HGV2 eligibility.
• Maximum of 6 points on licence and no bans
• Takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
• Must have relevant HIAB certification

Main job description for the HGV2 Hiab Driver:

• Drive vehicles in a safe and legal manner always ensuring compliance with all legal and company requirements.
• All daily checks are undertaken ensuring defects are immediately reported and correct paperwork complete.
• Always observe procedures and policies.
• Manage your routing to ensure premium and timed deliveries are achieved.
• Ensure the correct equipment and PPE, (personal protective equipment) is in good order and always used.
• Deal with any customer issues in a polite and effective manner.

• previous experience with deliveries is preferred

We are offering work on a temporary basis £18.00ph Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm (min 8hrs paid) This role is being offered on a temp to perm basis.
