Job summary

Rehlko is currently recruiting HGV Drivers with HIAB to join our Walkden depot. You will operate a lorry loader to deliver generators to sites and collect equipment across multiple areas, while keeping accurate records of driver hours and tachographs.

The role requires a valid HIAB licence, with ADR desirable, and at least one year of HIAB experience. A permanent 4-on-4-off shift pattern (days or nights) is offered.

Qualifications

• In-date HIAB licence is essential.
• ADR licence desirable.
• At least 1 year HIAB/l 작업 Loader experience.
• In-date Driver Qualification Card and CPC required.
• Able to communicate by phone and face-to-face with customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate HIAB/lorry loader to deliver generators to sites.
• Deliver and collect company equipment across multiple areas.
• Maintain driver hours and tachograph records.
• Check trucks and trailers for road readiness.
• Secure loads using restraints and comply with speed limits.
• Record activities in the company management system.

Role overview: We are currently recruiting HGV Drivers with HIAB to work days or nights out of our depot in Walkden. This is a superb opportunity for a HGV Driver to join the business through this period of growth.

Shift

Requires working 4 on 4 off days or nights shifts.

Role

Using a lorry loader/HIAB to deliver generators to sites. Delivering and collecting company equipment in multiple areas. Maintain driver hours and tachograph are observed & proper records are kept. Complete checks on the company trucks and trailers. General parts collections from suppliers when necessary. Ensure the load is correctly secured using restraints. Operating vehicles within speed limits. Accurate recording keeping using the company's bespoke management system.

The Person

Having an in-date HIAB licence is essential. Having maximum tonnage on your HIAB licence is desirable. At least one years experience working with HIAB/Lorry Loader. Having an in-date ADR licence is desirable. Willing to work in a permanent role. You must have a valid in-date driver qualification card along with in date driver CPC. Comfortable with communicating via telephone and face-to-face. The capability to deal with a variety of customers from different industries.
