Job summary

Rehlko, LLC in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, is seeking an experienced HGV Driver with HIAB to join our depot team. You will operate a HIAB vehicle to safely deliver and collect generators and equipment, while maintaining accurate delivery records and adhering to tachograph rules.

The role offers a permanent 4 on, 4 off night shift, a basic salary of £45,395.96 with overtime opportunities, 26.5 days of holiday (pro rata), private healthcare, and a supportive, equal-opportunity workplace.

Qualifications

• A valid, in-date HIAB/Lorry Loader licence is essential.
• A minimum of one year's experience operating a HIAB/Lorry Loader.
• Maximum tonnage certification on your HIAB licence would be desirable.
• A valid ADR licence would be advantageous, although not essential.
• A valid and in-date Driver Qualification Card and Driver CPC.
• Comfortable working a permanent 4 on, 4 off night shift rotation.
• Confident communicating with customers both face-to-face and over the telephone.
• Able to provide a professional service to customers across a variety of industries.
• A safety-focused and responsible approach to driving, loading and unloading.

Responsibilities

• Operate a lorry loader/HIAB to safely deliver and collect generators from customer sites.
• Deliver and collect company equipment across a variety of locations.
• Ensure all loads are correctly and safely secured using the appropriate restraints.
• Complete daily checks on company vehicles, trucks and trailers, reporting any defects as required.
• Ensure drivers' hours and tachograph regulations are adhered to and accurate records are maintained.
• Complete general parts and equipment collections from suppliers when required.
• Operate company vehicles safely, responsibly and within legal speed limits.
• Maintain accurate delivery and collection records using the company's management system.
• Provide a professional and reliable service when representing the business at customer sites.
