The role offers a £40,000 annual salary, with optional overtime. Working hours are Monday to Friday, typically 45–50 hours per week, with UK-based work and a focus on safe, professional deliveries.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years UK HGV Class 2 driving experience.
• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of UK drivers hours and road transport legislation.
• Reliable, punctual and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle in accordance with legislation and procedures.
• Complete deliveries and collections across the UK safely, efficiently and on time.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report defects promptly.
• Ensure loads are transported securely and safely.
• Maintain delivery documentation and electronic records.

The Role

We are looking for experienced and professional HGV Class 2 Drivers to join the team at its Milton Keynes operation.

This is a Monday to Friday position, offering a competitive £40,000 annual salary, with optional overtime available for drivers looking to increase their earnings.

Drivers typically work around 4550 hours per week, providing a consistent working pattern and regular UK-based work.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out deliveries and collections safely and efficiently, representing the company professionally when dealing with customers and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle in accordance with all relevant legislation and company procedures.
• Complete deliveries and collections across the UK safely, efficiently and on time.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects or issues promptly.
• Ensure all loads are transported securely and safely.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic records.
• Comply fully with drivers hours, tachograph and Working Time Regulations.
• Provide a professional and customer-focused service at all times.
• Communicate effectively with the transport team regarding deliveries, collections and any issues encountered on the road.
• Maintain a high standard of vehicle cleanliness and presentation.
• Follow all company health & safety procedures and operational processes.
• Represent the business positively when dealing with customers and members of the public.

About You

The ideal candidate will be an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of delivering a reliable and professional service.

Essential requirements:

• Minimum 2 years HGV Class 2 driving experience in the UK.
• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of UK drivers hours and road transport legislation.
• Good driving record and strong commitment to road safety.
• Reliable, punctual and professional approach.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with the transport team.
