Job summary

Advance Roofing Supplies Ltd is seeking an experienced HGV Driver based in Tring. You will be responsible for delivering roofing materials, operating a crane, and ensuring excellent customer service. Ideal candidates must hold a Class 2 licence and have a minimum of 2 years in a multi-drop role. The position offers a structured work schedule (7am-4.30pm Mon-Fri) and a supportive team environment with opportunities for growth. • Strong standards of safety, presentation, and timekeeping.
• Eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver roofing materials to customer sites across the region.
• Load and unload vehicles ensuring accurate stock movement.
• Operate a crane (HIAB) safely in line with regulations.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and defect reports.
• Provide excellent customer service on every delivery.

We’re looking for a customer-focused, safety-conscious HGV Driver to join the team at our Tring branch. This is a hands-on role at the heart of our operation, delivering roofing materials safely, efficiently and with great service — every time.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Delivering roofing materials to customer sites across the region
• Loading and unloading vehicles and ensuring accurate stock movement
• Operating a crane (HIAB) safely and in line with regulations
• Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reports
• Keeping your vehicle clean, safe and well presented
• Providing excellent customer service on every delivery
• Completing delivery paperwork and handling returns correctly
• Supporting the wider branch and transport team when required

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence and Driver CPC
• HIAB licence (brick grab) preferred, or willingness to train
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar multi-drop role
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Confident navigating local delivery routes safely and efficiently
• Organised, reliable and calm under pressure
• High standards of safety, timekeeping and presentation
• Eligible to work in the UK

7am-4.30pm Mon-Fri, 8am-12pm alternate Saturdays
