Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver to deliver steel products across depot operations. You will work from Monday to Friday with start times varying.

The role requires a Category C+E licence, Driver CPC and a Digital Tachograph card, and you will be responsible for load security and tachograph records. Daily duties include following load plans, ensuring compliance with regulations, and performing vehicle checks.

Qualifications

• Need HGV Class 1 driving licence with C+E.

• Strong emphasis on load security and safety procedures.
• Ability to follow load plans and driver hours regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver steel products in line with load plans and customer requirements.
• Maintain compliance with driver hours regulations and safety guidelines.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and support safe load security and route efficiency.
• Occasionally assist with on-site trailer shunting as needed.

Job description

An excellent opportunity for an HGV Class 1 Driver with a Category C+E licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card to deliver steel products safely and efficiently across depot operations.

As an HGV Class 1 Driver you will work as an HGV Class 1 Driver delivering steel products in line with agreed load plans, customer requirements, driver hours regulations and health and safety procedures.

The HGV Class 1 Driver will also support safe load security, digital tachograph records, daily vehicle checks, route efficiency and occasional on-site trailer shunting.

Start time variable (generally Mon > Fri)

£15.00 per hour for first 41.25 hrs

£22.50 per hour overtime & Saturdays

£26.00 Overnight Allowance (current average less than 2 night per week)

33 days annual leave, inclusive of 8 bank holidays (25 days to choose)
