Think Recruitment is seeking an experienced Refuse Driver to join a busy waste and recycling team in South Tyneside. The role involves operating HGV refuse collection vehicles, carrying out domestic waste and recycling collections on scheduled routes, and supporting loading where needed.

The position is 37 hours per week (Tuesday to Friday), paid at £19.00 per hour via Umbrella, start ASAP and on-going temporary contract. Candidates must hold C1 Licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card.

Qualifikationen

• Valid C1 Licence required.
• Valid CPC qualification required.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Previous refuse/waste collection or HGV driving experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Drive HGV refuse collection vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Carry out domestic waste and recycling collections across scheduled routes.
• Assist with loading refuse and recycling into the collection vehicle where required.
• Ensure bins and receptacles are handled safely and returned appropriately.
• Complete collections in a professional and timely manner.
• Work as part of a team to maintain an efficient waste collection service.
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with Health & Safety procedures.
• Report any vehicle, equipment or collection issues to the relevant supervisor.

Experienced and professional Refuse Driver required to work with a leading and highly reputable organisation.

My client requires an experienced Refuse Driver to join their waste and recycling team on a temporary ongoing contract. The role involves carrying out refuse collections across the South Tyneside area as part of a busy operational team.

Location: South Tyneside

Pay: £19.00 per hour (Paid via Umbrella)

Hours: 37 hours per week (Tuesday - Friday)

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Ongoing contract
