Job summary

SUEZ in the United Kingdom is seeking an HGV Class 2 driver to operate and drive fleet vehicles collecting Industrial and Commercial waste and recycling, delivering a high standard of service while complying with health and safety rules.

You will ideally hold an LGV Class 2 licence and a CPC card, with a willingness to join a hardworking team and provide excellent customer service across our local operations in Preston.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV Class 2 licence and CPC card.
• Experience in waste industry is desirable but not essential.
• Experience with roll-on/roll-off containers is preferred but training will be given if needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate vehicles collecting Industrial and Commercial waste and recycling.
• Deliver a high standard of service and ensure compliance with Health & Safety rules.
• Communicate effectively with customers and maintain a professional image for SUEZ.

What will I be doing?

The role will involve the driving and operation of vehicles collecting Industrial and Commercialwaste and recycling from our customers, delivering a high standard of service and ensuring compliance with our customer’s Health and Safety rules as well as our own at all times.

What are the requirements?

You must be able to demonstrate a passion for professional driving coupled with good communication skills and a willingness to be part of a successful hardworking team, delivering a high level of customer service.

The role also requires:

• An LGV Class 2 license as well as a CPC card are essential.
• Experience of working in the waste industry is desirable though not essential.
• Experience of working with recycling vehicles,roll on roll off containers, is preferred but not essential as training will be given where necessary.
