Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is seeking HGV Class 1 and Class 2 drivers for ongoing assignments across Maidstone, Medway and Tonbridge. You choose from one day a week or full-time hours to suit your lifestyle.

Start times vary by client, with day shifts usually 04:00–08:00 and night shifts 17:00–19:00. Pay rates are £20.00/hour PAYE for day shifts and £18.00/hour PAYE for other shifts, with a minimum daily guarantee of 8–10 hours pay.

• Valid UK Driving Licence (maximum 6 penalty points).
• Valid HGV Licence.
• Current CPC Qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Reliable transport or access to public transport.
• Strong attention to detail.

HGV Class 1 and Class 2 Drivers for a variety of ongoing assignments across:

Maidstone

Medway

Tonbridge

Whether you're looking for

one day a week or full-time hours, we have opportunities to suit your availability.

Available Driving Roles

We are recruiting for a range of assignments, including:

• Tramping
• Multi-Drop Deliveries
• HIAB Work

With us, you're in control. Simply tell us when you're available, and we'll work to find assignments that fit your schedule. There is

no pressure to accept work.

Start Times

Day Shifts

• Typically between 04:00 and 08:00

Night Shifts

• Typically between 17:00 and 19:00

Start times may vary depending on the client and assignment.

Pay Rates (PAYE)

£20.00 per hour

£18.00 per hour

Rates vary depending on shift patterns, job type, and client requirements.

Most assignments come with a

minimum daily guarantee of 8-10 hours pay. This means that even if you complete the work in less time, you'll still receive the agreed minimum daily pay.
