Job summary

Alliance Automotive Logistics in the UK seeks an experienced HGV Class 1 driver to safely deliver automotive parts to branches and distribution centres. You will perform daily vehicle checks, load-secure goods, and maintain POD records while adhering to DVSA rules and drivers’ hours.

This full-time role in Rotherham includes days, evenings and occasional weekends, with a competitive salary, pension, and ongoing training within a supportive logistics network.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of UK driving laws and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles in line with legal and company requirements.
• Complete deliveries and collections as scheduled.
• Ensure loads are secured and transported safely.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Maintain accurate POD records and delivery documentation.
• Provide professional service at delivery points.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
• Report delays or incidents to Transport team promptly.
