Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is seeking an experienced HGV Driver for a permanent role in Wellingborough. The position offers a competitive salary with enhanced pay, guaranteed hours and a range of benefits.

You will be responsible for daily vehicle checks, nationwide deliveries, tachograph compliance and providing excellent customer service. Training and development are provided within a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with transport team to maintain high standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Completing daily vehicle safety checks before every journey
• Delivering goods nationwide in line with delivery schedules
• Complying with tachograph regulations and driver hours legislation
• Accurately completing delivery paperwork and records
• Carrying out overnight tramping when required
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations
• Working closely with the wider transport team to maintain high standards

What we’re looking for

• A valid C+E licence, Driver Card and DQC Card
• A strong understanding of tachograph and driver hours regulations
• Excellent geographical knowledge
• Good communication and customer service skills
• A positive attitude and team-focused approach
• Experience working as a Class 1 or Class 2 Driver would be advantageous.
