SUEZ in Exeter is recruiting an HGV Class 2 Driver to join a professional team responsible for collecting industrial and commercial waste, operating a modern fleet, and delivering a safe, reliable service every day.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collect Industrial and Commercial Waste from a range of customer sites, ensuring waste is collected safely and in line with company procedures.
• Operate a variety of vehicles including dust carts, RORO, FEL, skip vehicles; full training provided to develop skills.

SUEZ, Unit 10E Greendale Industrial Estate, Exeter, EX5 1EW.

The Pay & Package

• Earn between £38,769.22 and £49,267.61 per annum, including bonus opportunities (T&Cs apply), based on a 47.5-hour working week.
• Overtime paid at 1.5x Monday to Saturday, 2x Sunday, 2x rate plus a day in lieu for Bank Holidays or 3x without a day in lieu
• Performance bonus paid quarterly, recognising safe, compliant and professional working practices (T&C's apply)
• Salary and overtime paid monthly
• Single Person bonus paid monthly – Dependent on mode of vehicle (T&C's apply)

The Shift & Hours

• Monday to Friday
• Start time: 04:00am
• Finish time: 2:15pm
• 47.5 hours per week

What will I be doing?

You'll be responsible for collecting Industrial and Commercial Waste from a range of customer sites, ensuring waste is collected safely, efficiently, and in line with company procedures.

This Role Includes Operating a Variety Of Vehicles, Including

• Dust carts
• Roll-On Roll-Off (RORO) vehicles
• Front End Loades (FEL) vehicles
• Skip vehicles

Experience operating these vehicle types is beneficial, but not essential. Full training will be provided to help you develop the skills needed to perform the role confidently and safely.

What are the requirements?

• A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence or Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
• A valid Driver CPC card
• A valid Digital Tachograph card
• A good understanding of safe and compliant driving practices

Experience operating multiple vehicle types such as dust carts, RORO, Skip, Rigid Tanker or FEL vehicles is beneficial, but not required.
