Qualifications

Job description

We are currently seeking reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver for night shifts. This is a great opportunity to join a flexible team and be responsible for transporting goods to various industrial estates, completing multiple deliveries per shift, and ensuring the safe and efficient handling of cargo.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle to deliver goods to designated locations
• Load and unload 10-15 pallets per shift, ensuring the secure handling of items
• Perform 2-3 deliveries per shift, returning to the depot for reloading as required
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
• Communicate with dispatch to provide delivery updates and report any delays
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs or issues
• Maintain accurate delivery records including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents

What We’re Looking For:

• Full UK C Category driving licence
• UK Digital Tachograph card
• No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence (no bans)
• Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Ability to navigate using GPS or other navigation systems
• Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English
• Physical stamina to handle loading and unloading of cargo
• A dedicated and responsible attitude towards your work
