Job Details

• Position: HGV Class 2 Driver
• Location: Coventry
• Pay: £20 to £21 per hour
• Schedule: Monday to Friday plus some weekends, 6:45 am start, 8 hours per shift
• Type: Temporary, PAYE only
• Industry: Waste Management, Transportation, Logistics

Responsibilities

• Assist loaders with bin collections
• Operate dust cart vehicles safely to collect and transport waste
• Ensure timely waste collection adhering to traffic laws and policies
• Communicate effectively with team and public
• Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain records
• Provide excellent customer service

Qualifications

• Proven experience as HGV Class 2 Driver, preferably with Dust Cart vehicles
• Valid HGV Class 2 license with a clean driving record (no more than 6 points)
• Up-to-date CPC and Tacho cards
• Strong communication skills and basic mechanical knowledge
• Ability to work independently and safely
