Job Opportunity: Class 2 HGV Driver

24-7 Recruitment Services, acting as an Employment Business, is currently recruiting for Class 2 HGV drivers for a well-known client based in the Magna Park area of Rugby (CV23).

The client is a reputable high-street company operating petrol service stations across the UK. It offers a friendly environment suitable for new pass Class 2 HGV drivers to start or progress their careers.

Job Details

• 5-6 drops per shift, with shifts lasting 8-10 hours
• Shift rotation: 4 days on, 4 days off, over a 7-day week
• Start times: 01:00 - 05:00, 10:00 - 14:00, 15:00 - 19:00

Driver Requirements

• Valid Class 2 / C License
• No more than 6 points (no DD, DR, TT, or IN codes)
• Valid Tacho and CPC cards
• Minimum 1 year of Class 2 (C) experience
• Cage delivery experience
• Experience delivering to petrol forecourts across the UK
• Presentable appearance and professional customer-facing manner
• Will undergo 2 days of training before starting
• Experience with refrigerated vehicles, cages, milk dolly work, and tail lifts

Pay Rates

Basic rate: £15.54 per hour

Overtime after 42.5 hours weekly: £19.80 per hour

Overtime shifts outside normal rota: Paid at £19.80 per hour
