Driver Hire Colchester is urgently seeking HGV drivers for immediate starts across Class 1 (Cat C+E) and Class 2 (Cat C) roles. If you’re an experienced lorry driver based in or around Colchester , this is your chance to join the UK’s leading driver recruitment agency with ongoing, high-quality work.

Position : HGV Driver – Class 1 (Cat C+E) or Class 2 (Cat C)

Pay : £15.00 – £16.00 per hour* (PAYE, includes holiday pay at 12.07%)

Minimum Guaranteed Pay : 10 hours per day – even if you work less!

Start Date : Immediate

Contract Type : Full-time, ongoing

Location : Colchester, with work in nearby areas like Sudbury, Clacton-on-Sea, Harwich, Halstead, and more

The Role:

Driving HGV Class 1 or HGV Class 2 for a variety of local and regional clients

Possible multi-drop, tipper, or general haulage work depending on role

Manual handling may be required in some roles – must be physically fit.

Representing Driver Hire Colchester with professionalism and safety at all times.

HGV Driver Requirements:

Valid Category C+E (Class 1) or Category C (Class 2) driving licence

Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card

Maximum of 6 penalty points (no DR, DD, or IN convictions)

Minimum 2 years’ HGV driving experience

Weekly PAYE pay direct to your account
