Description

Fert Solutions is a locally owned and operated fertiliser contractor, managing 2 Iveco Spreader Trucks and 2 tractor-drawn fertiliser spreaders.

This role involves driving our Iveco Trakker equipped with an ERL bin and trailer, which requires a Class 5 license. Responsibilities include spreading pasture, capital fertiliser, and lime. Our equipment is well-maintained and in excellent condition.

At Fert Solutions, we do not work on Sundays and only occasionally on Saturdays during peak season or depending on weather conditions. Winter is our off-season, offering opportunities to pursue other interests like skiing or seeding in Australia.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Take pride in your work and operate machinery responsibly
  • Prior experience in agriculture
  • Hold a current, clean Class 5 driver’s license
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willing to work longer hours during the busy spring season

We offer competitive pay for experienced operators and are open to discussing travel allowances.

Start Date: Mid-August

The season runs through to the end of April for seasonal work, with the possibility of permanent full-time employment for the right candidate.
