Job summary

Bidfresh is seeking an HGV Driver (Category C / Class 2) to deliver fresh ingredients to restaurants, pubs, hotels, and catering customers across a defined route in the UK. You will perform multi-drop deliveries, ensuring products are handled safely, accurately and on time while upholding Bidfresh’s service standards and brand reputation.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, reliability and the ability to manage daily vehicle checks, tachograph rules, and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Full UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience as an HGV/Class 2 driver with multi-drop routes.
• Experience in multi-temperature delivery is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries across your route.
• Deliver fresh and multi-temperature products safely and on time.
• Provide excellent customer service at every stop.
• Build relationships with customers and represent Bidfresh professionally.
• Load and unload products safely and efficiently.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Follow delivery schedules with accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure tachograph hours and road transport regulations are followed.
• Meet health and safety and food safety standards.

Join Bidfresh as an HGV Driver and play a vital role in delivering fresh ingredients to restaurants, pubs, hotels and catering customers across your route. You'll complete multi-drop deliveries, provide excellent service at every stop and help ensure our customers receive their orders safely, accurately and on time.

What you'll be doing

• Completing multi-drop deliveries to customers across your route
• Delivering fresh and multi-temperature food products safely, legally and on time
• Providing excellent customer service at every delivery
• Building strong relationships with customers and representing the Bidfresh brand professionally
• Loading and unloading products safely and efficiently
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Following delivery schedules while maintaining high levels of accuracy and compliance
• Ensuring tachograph, driving hours and road transport regulations are followed at all times
• Making sure all deliveries are completed in line with company, health and safety and food safety standards

What we're looking for

• Full UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous experience as an HGV Driver, Class 2 Driver or Multi-Drop Driver is beneficial
• Experience working within a multi-temperature delivery environment is desirable
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Good literacy, numeracy and basic IT skills
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently
• A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service
