Job summary

Une entreprise de services utilitaires en croissance recherche un conducteur HGV Class 1 pour soutenir les équipes d'excavation et de réintégration. Vous serez chargé de conduire un HGV tout en respectant les normes de santé et de sécurité. Ce rôle dynamique implique des responsabilités variées, y compris le transport de matériaux et l'assistance lors des opérations nocturnes. Les candidats doivent posséder le Driver CPC et un ticket HIAB, ainsi qu'une bonne connaissance des opérations des équipements lourds.

Qualifications

• Expérience dans l'exploitation de machines est un atout.
• Connaissance des règles de signalisation et de guarding sur la route.
• Expérience dans les télécommunications et les services publics est avantageuse.

Responsibilities

• Conduire et opérer un HGV.
• Élever et démanteler des poteaux.
• Charger des déchets excavés et livrer des matériaux pour la construction routière.

Job description

Description

As a HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be expected to achieve high outputs supporting the excavation and re-instatement teams while maintaining high levels of Health and Safety standards.

Working with a mate, you will carry out various back fill and muck away activities working to HAUC and client specifications. You will be an important part of the team delivering to a high standard with a 'can do attitude'. You will also be expected to undertake weekly overtime and weekend work as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a HGV
• Erecting and dismantling poles
• Load excavated waste and deliver materials such as ducts and chambers for highway construction work
• Backfill trenches with sand and stone
• Support out-of-hours standby duties when required

Experience and Qualifications

• Driver CPC required
• HIAB ticket needed
• Machine operating experience is a bonus
• Good knowledge of safe operation of heavy equipment
• Experience in Utilities and Telecoms is advantageous
• SHEA or EUSR Qualifications preferred

Essential Certifications:

• NRASWA
• CPCS, ALLMI or NPORS Lorry loader qualification
• Knowledge of Signing, Lighting, and Guarding in the highway
