Job summary

Lanes Group in Colnbrook, Iver, is seeking a permanent, full-time HGV technician to support Thames Water on a regional contract. You will travel with a colleague to residential sites, operating high-pressure water jetting to diagnose and clear drainage issues, while recording precise job reports.

The role requires an HGV Class 2 licence, CPC, and a current digi tachograph card; full training will be provided. 50-hour weeks, £44,191 per year, with a strong focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence with CPC and digi tachograph card.
• Experience operating high-pressure water jetting equipment is desirable.
• Ability to work as part of a two-person team on customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Travelling to residential sites in a two-person team to operate a high-pressure water jet.
• Clean and maintain drainage systems and record job reports on equipment.
• Run diagnostics and repairs on drains, while delivering excellent customer service.
• Follow health and safety procedures and manage stock levels on vehicles.
• Utilise VISTEC and Salesforce platforms to log work and updates.
