Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting for Class One and Two HGV drivers for an ongoing position based in Buxton, operating out of a quarry. Shifts are mainly day, with potential night work, and various pay rates including night rates.

Start times vary and flexibility is required to cover deliveries and haulage tasks across the region. Applicants must hold MPQC, CPC and DIGI Tacho Cards, plus a Class 1 or 2 HGV licence.

Qualifications

• MPQC Card is required.
• CPC Card is required.
• DIGI Tacho Card is required.
• HGV Class 1 or 2 Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Conducting multi-drop deliveries across the region.
• Assisting with tipping and other general haulage tasks.
• Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and vehicle checks.
• Working out of a quarry.

Are you an experienced HGV driver looking for your next opportunity? We're currently hiring for an ongoing position based in Buxton!

Position Details:

• Location: Buxton, working out of a quarry
• Shifts: Mainly day shifts, with potential night work
• Pay Rates:
  • £15.97 per hour (days)
  • £23.18 per hour (nights)
  • After 12 weeks: £16.60 per hour
  • Overtime (after 8 hours/day): £18.54 per hour
  • £23.18 Per hour for Nights
• Start times: Vary - flexibility required

Requirements:

• CPC Card
• DIGI Tacho Card
• HGV Class one or Two Licence

Role:
