Job summary

Quest Waste Management Ltd is seeking a Class 2 Jet Vac Driver / Operator to join our Kirkby in Ashfield team. You will operate HGV Class 2 vacuum tankers for safe collection, transportation and disposal of liquid waste and sludge, and carry out local and nationwide deliveries in line with schedules.

You must hold a full UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points), Driver CPC, Tachograph Card and CSCS where applicable.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with max 6 penalty points.
• Driver CPC and Tachograph Card required.
• CSCS card or willingness to obtain.
• Hands-on attitude and ability to work outdoors in all weather.
• Strong teamwork and clear communication.
• Basic IT skills and willingness to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 2 vacuum tankers for safe collection, transport and disposal of liquid waste and sludge.
• Carry out local and nationwide deliveries and collections to client schedules.
• Perform pre-use inspections and routine maintenance for safety.
• Load/unload materials using hoses, fittings and pumping systems.
• Maintain accurate records of collections and disposal notes.
• Coordinate routes with dispatch and operations teams.
• Follow environmental and Health & Safety regulations at all times.
• Carry out tank cleaning and decontamination as required.
• Represent Quest Waste Management professionally on client sites.
• Report incidents or defects promptly to management.
• Ensure vehicles and equipment are cleaned and presented to standards.
• Support training and mentoring of team members.
