Job summary

Quest Waste Management, via Subscan QWM, seeks a motivated HGV Class 1 operative in Nottinghamshire. You will operate jet vacs and vacuum tankers, perform drain maintenance, and work as part of a two-person crew to deliver high-quality drainage services.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, Driver CPC, Tachograph Card, and CSCS card, with a hands-on, outdoors-focused mindset and strong teamwork. Training and safety are emphasised across all duties.

• Hands-on attitude with ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• WJA Trained is desirable and relevant.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 2 Jet Vac and vacuum tankers to clean, clear, and maintain drainage systems.
• Travel to residential, commercial, and industrial sites as part of a two-person team to deliver high-quality service.
• Safely operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to remove blockages and restore flow.
• Record job details accurately using company systems and equipment.
• Carry out diagnostics, minor repairs, and inspections of drains and related infrastructure.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain clear communication with clients on-site.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks, maintain vehicle stock levels, and ensure equipment is clean and ready for use.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures, including PPE use and safe site setups.
