Job summary

Smart Solutions in Tottenham is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Skip Driver to join a busy waste management operation. You will be responsible for safe delivery, collection, and transportation of skips, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to health and safety standards.

The role offers ongoing, full-time work with daytime hours and regular Saturday shifts on a rota. A valid HGV Class 2 licence, CPC, and tachograph cards are essential, along with skip driving experience.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous skip driving experience
• Good knowledge of Drivers' Hours legislation and road transport regulations
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Good communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect skips from commercial and domestic customer sites.
• Transport waste safely and dispose of it in line with company procedures and environmental regulations.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects promptly.
• Complete all delivery and collection paperwork accurately.
• Provide a professional and courteous service to customers.
• Comply with all Road Traffic Regulations, Drivers' Hours rules, and company Health & Safety procedures.
• Keep the vehicle clean and presentable at all times.
