Job summary

Smart Solutions in Uxbridge is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Skip Driver for long-term work. You will be responsible for safe delivery, collection, and disposal of skips while providing excellent customer service.

The role requires a valid HGV Class 2 licence, CPC, Tachograph card, and good English; hours are Monday to Friday 7:00am–5:00pm and pay is £18.50 per hour. This is a long-term opportunity with a stable team.

Qualifications

• Previous skip driver experience is essential.
• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good level of spoken and written English is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect skips from customer sites.
• Safely operate a skip vehicle in line with company procedures and road safety regulations.
• Ensure waste is handled and disposed of correctly.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects or issues.
• Provide a professional and helpful service to customers.
