Job summary

Surecall Recruitment is seeking HGV Class 2 Skip Drivers for an AM shift role in Guildford. Immediate start available with ongoing regular work for a busy waste and skip hire operation.

Pay: £21/hour weekdays, £23/hour weekends/bank holidays, with holiday pay included. Previous skip loading/driving experience is essential; licence must be held for at least 6 months and clean, with good local area knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Minimum 6 months’ licence held
• Skip loading/driving experience essential
• No major licence offences and reliable
• Good knowledge of Guildford/Surrey area preferred

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate HGV Class 2 vehicle for skip hire operations
• Load/unload skips and ensure safe manual handling
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies
• Provide reliable and on-time service to clients
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic daily checks
