Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting an HGV Class 2 driver for our client based in Nursling. The role offers a £38,000 basic salary with realistic earnings of £40,000+ per year and overtime after 45 hours. You'll receive full training and have the opportunity to secure a permanent position after a successful probation period.

Working Monday to Friday, 50 hours per week, with 32 days' annual leave. You will drive skips between Romsey area sites, with full job support and clear health and safety

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• CPC qualification card is required.
• Digital Tachograph card is required.
• Reliable and professional approach.
• Good communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and undertake training.
• Previous skip experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate class 2 skip vehicles.
• Deliver and collect skips from multiple sites.
• Perform vehicle checks before and after shifts.
• Travel between scheduled jobs throughout the day.
• Follow health and safety procedures.

The Best Connection is recruiting HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for our client based in Nursling. Working hours

The Role

You’ll be delivering and collecting skips from the Romsey site to variety of commercial and residential customers across the local area. No heavy lifting involved, it’s all mechanically lifted off.

Daily duties include:

• Driving and operating class 2 skip vehicles
• Delivering and collecting skips
• Vehicle checks before and after each shift
• Travelling between scheduled jobs throughout the day
• Following safe systems of work and health & safety procedures
