QS Recruitment Ltd is hiring an HGV Class 2 driver for Market Harborough (LE16) on a temporary ongoing basis. Immediate start available for experienced or newly qualified drivers with a valid licence and CPC. Role involves operating a refuse collection vehicle on assigned routes, ensuring safety, and completing daily vehicle checks.

Winter maintenance cover may be required. Early start 06:30, Tuesday to Friday, with a pay rate of £15.17 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 / Category C driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph (Digi) Card.
• Good knowledge of UK road networks and road safety procedures.
• Ability to work as part of a refuse collection crew.

Responsabilités

• Operate an HGV Class 2 refuse collection vehicle on allocated routes.
• Carry out routine vehicle checks and defect reporting.
• Work with loader/ground crew to complete scheduled collections safely.
• Support winter maintenance operations if required and follow procedures.
