Job summary

Solvit Recruitment in Walsall is seeking HGV Class 2 Refuse Drivers for an on-going manual collection role. Shifts up to 4 days per week, 06:15 to 16:15, with induction and three days training.

You will drive a refuse vehicle, collect bulky items, domestic and commercial waste, and support street cleaning and recycling tasks. Pay is £16.35 per hour with rolled up Holiday Pay; benefits include secure onsite parking and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 experience.
• Understand Health & Safety procedures.
• Complete necessary paperwork and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Collection of bulky items and day-to-day driving duties.
• Household door-to-door collections and commercial waste collections.
• Street cleaning and associated functions.
• Recycling collections and reducing contamination.
