Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking a Refuse Collection Driver for Market Harborough with an immediate start. You will join the recycling team to collect household and commercial waste, adhering to safety and route standards.

The role offers a 40-hour week, Tuesday to Friday, starting at 06:30, with a 3-day weekend (Sat–Mon) and a PAYE rate of £15.17 per hour. A permanent opportunity may follow for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with HGV Cat C qualification is required.
• CPC and Digi tacho card must be valid and up to date.
• No more than 6 points on licence; no DD/DR convictions.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate refuse/recycling collection routes safely with your crew.
• Ensure timely daily collections and proper waste handling at drop-off points.
• Work as part of a team to complete the weekly schedule and maintain safety standards.
