Job summary

EVRi International in Swindon is seeking experienced HGV Class 2 night drivers to join our Swindon depot. You will drive 40 hours per week with a flexible contract option, handling palletised parcels and ensuring paperwork is up to date.

We offer £16.16 per hour with overtime at £24.24 after full-time hours, plus 32 days of annual leave and a 3% pension contribution with life assurance. Career progression opportunities are available within the team and wider business.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2 (Cat C) entitlements, Driver CPC and digital tachograph.
• Newly-qualified drivers are welcome; a short driving assessment will be required.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport palletised parcels to couriers or collect from Delivery Units.
• Complete runs with 4–5 drops while updating paperwork and maintaining safety.

£16.16per hour with an overtime rate of £24.24once fulltime hours are completed.

What You’ll Do:

Our HGV Class 2 drivers work on shifts, safely transporting our palletised parcels to Couriers or collecting from Delivery Units (that's where our couriers pick them up). You will typically have a run with 4 - 5 drops ensuring the safe, efficient driving of vehicles and keeping the paperwork updated.

Our full-time HGV Class 2 driver roles are 40 hours a week, but flexible contracts and part time hours are available. Full time is any 5 shifts out of 7, rotas are given in advance.

Essential Skills & Experience Required:

• You’ll need a full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2 (Cat C) entitlements, driver's CPC and digital tachograph. Newly-qualified drivers are welcome, however all drivers will need to undertake a short driving assessment.
