Job summary

Drivers Today in Newcastle-under-Lyme is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 multi-drop driver for a long-term position delivering pallets across CW and WA postcode areas. Expect 45 hours per week with 07:30 starts, Monday to Friday, in a familiar route.

The role emphasises reliability, safety, and excellent customer service. Experience in pallet-network deliveries and curtain-side operations is preferred, with CPC, digital tachograph cards, and a valid Class 2 licence required.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months HGV Class 2 multi-drop experience.
• Valid Category C / HGV Class 2 licence.
• Driver CPC.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience with pallet-network deliveries.
• Curtain-side experience.
• Tail-lift experience.
• Proficient with manual and electric pump trucks.
• Good load security knowledge.
• Careful, professional driving with good timekeeping.
• Reliable and customer-facing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver palletised goods to businesses and shops across local CW/WA postcodes.
• Work a regular Monday–Friday day shift (07:30 starts, ~45 hours/week).
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Maintain high standards of load security and vehicle care.
• Provide good customer service during each drop and collect pallets as required.
