Job summary

Work Lyf Group Ltd on behalf of our client is seeking a reliable Class 2 HGV Driver to join a busy pallet network operation in Welshpool. The role involves multi‑drop deliveries, timely collections and customer‑facing service on a Monday to Friday pattern.

You will perform daily safety checks, maintain paperwork, and uphold a professional, positive approach while complying with drivers hours and road‑safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Current Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Excellent timekeeping and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Professional and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Complete pallet network multi‑drop deliveries and collections.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
• Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain and complete all required paperwork and PODs.
• Deliver a professional, friendly, and customer‑focused service at all times.
• Adhere to Driver Hours regulations, Working Time Directive requirements, and company policies.
• Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and in a roadworthy condition.
