Job summary

Clancy is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 driver and HIAB/Plant Operator to join our team on the UK Power Networks Overhead Line contract. This role requires safe transportation, loading and unloading of plant and materials, and supporting overhead line activities across sites.

You'll work alongside overhead line gangs, with a focus on safety, load security, and compliance with RAMS and environmental procedures. UKPN experience and CPCS/NPORS are advantageous.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence with driver CPC.
• HIAB/Lorry Loader qualification.
• Experience with lifting equipment and plant transport.
• Knowledge of load security and safe vehicle movements.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate HGV Class 2 vehicles on the UKPN contract.
• Operate HIAB/Lorry Loader in line with training and authorisations.
• Transport plant, poles, materials and equipment to/from work sites.
• Carry out daily vehicle and plant checks and report defects.
