Position: HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver

Job Overview

Pure Staff has a fantastic opportunity for a qualified HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver interested in ongoing work in Reading. The role is Monday to Friday, with potential weekend work as required by the client.

Pay Rate

Days Monday to Friday: £18.00 per hour

Please note, holiday pay is paid separately when booked and is not included in the hourly rate.

Additional Information

Candidates do not pay weekly umbrella margins or payroll processing fees.

Job Responsibilities

• Fence and barrier deliveries
• Nationwide deliveries with typically 1-3 drops per day
• Unloading using a remote control crane (ALMI HIAB)
• Daily vehicle checks
• Professional interaction with customers
• Completion of pre-work assessments
• Adherence to safety protocols, including PPE

Candidate Requirements

• Class 2 HGV license with at least 6 months' experience
• HIAB license with Hook and Sling experience
• ALMI HIAB license
• Minimum 12 months' driving experience
• Valid CPC
• Clean driving license with no more than 6 points (no TT, TS, MS, DR, DD codes)

Work Schedule

Start times around 07:00 am; shifts may last 10-12 hours, in line with tachograph laws.
