Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated HGV Class 2 HIAB driver to join our team at Briants of Risborough. This pivotal role involves the reliable and safe delivery of products using a HIAB lorry, ensuring our customers receive an exceptional level of service that represents our company's values.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Operate a HIAB lorry, ensuring safety and efficiency during all deliveries.
  2. Load and unload materials in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  3. Maintain and keep delivery records and documentation accurately.
  4. Adhere to all driving regulations and road traffic laws for LGV vehicles.
  5. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues.
  6. Provide excellent customer service and address any queries proficiently.
  7. Ensure the delivery schedules are met in accordance with the company expectations.
  8. Support in maintaining the vehicle’s cleanliness and general upkeep.
Qualifications and Skills
  1. Valid HGV Class 2 license and experienced in operating HIAB vehicles - essential.
  2. Digital tachograph card and up-to-date CPC qualification.
  3. Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset.
  4. Excellent geographical knowledge of Buckinghamshire and surrounding areas.
  5. Effective communication skills and professional demeanour.
  6. Proven track record of providing outstanding customer service.
Working Hours

This role offers a full-time schedule, 44.5 hours across Monday to Friday, with every other Saturday working 08.00 - 12.00. Flexibility is essential for meeting delivery demands.
