Job summary

GXO Logistics is hiring a full-time Class 2 HIAB driver to join our home delivery team in Burton on Trent for Wickes. You will ensure accurate, timely delivery and provide excellent customer service on every drop.

The role requires a valid UK class 2 licence, HIAB training (training available), Driver CPC and a valid Digital Tachograph Card. DBS check and license endorsements check will be completed. On offer is a 39-hour week with some peak-period Saturdays.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence with category class 2 entitlement.
• HIAB licence (ALLMI or equivalent) is advantageous but training can be provided.
• A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC).
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• DBS check will be performed.
• No endorsements DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 within last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accurate, timely movement and delivery of customers' products.
• Provide excellent face-to-face customer service.
• Deliver bulk items to customer homes using a class 2 HIAB vehicle from Wickes stores.

Are you an experienced Class 2 HIAB driver looking for a change? Or would you like to gain a new qualification? If so, we are looking for you!

Here atGXO Logistics, we are looking for a full-time, permanentClass 2 HIAB driverto join our home delivery team in Burton on Trent for our customer, Wickes.

You will be contracted to work 39 hours / week,on a Monday to Friday schedule with 07:00 am start times, with Saturdays during peak period.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A full UK driving licence with category class 2 entitlement
• HIAB licence (ALLMI or equivalent) is advantageous but not necessary as training can be provided
• A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
• Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 current penalty points
• Successful applicant will be subject to a DBS check
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
• Successful candidates will be required to pass a DBS check
