Job summary

GXO Logistics is seeking a Class 2 HIAB Driver to support our Wickes home‑delivery operation in Bicester. This full‑time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 39 hours per week, starting at 07:00, with occasional peak‑period Saturdays at premium pay.

You will perform multidrop deliveries, follow safety practices, and provide excellent customer service. Candidates should hold a Class 2 UK driving licence, valid Tachograph and CPC, with HIAB licence as an advantage.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement.
• Digital Tachograph Card and Driver CPC valid.
• HIAB licence is advantageous but not essential.
• DBS check required for successful candidates.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bulk items to customers’ homes using a Class 2 HIAB vehicle for Wickes stores.
• Adhere to safe working practices to ensure personal and public safety.
• Maintain flexibility with start times according to business needs.
• Provide excellent face-to-face customer service during deliveries.

This is a full-time, permanent role, working 39 hours per week, starting at 07:00, Monday to Friday, with the occasional peak-period Saturday at premium pay.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Delivering bulk items to customers’ homes using a Class 2 HIAB vehicle from Wickes stores
• Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others
• A flexible approach to working start times as dictated by the needs of the business
• Providing excellent face to face customer service to customer

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A full UK driving licence with category class 2 entitlement
• Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card and Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
• Previous experience in a customer facing role would be an advantage
• Have a positive, flexible attitude toward work and be a reliable timekeeper with the ability to work independently
• HIAB licence – ALLMI or equivalent an advantage however not essential
• Successful candidates will be required to pass a DBS check.
