Job summary

Prism 7 Resourcing is seeking a Class 2 Refuse Driver for an ongoing role based in Basildon. Typical day starts at 7:15am, Monday to Friday, with potential Saturday work when Bank Holidays occur, paid at time and a half. You will drive a dustcart, collect refuse/recycling, and complete daily checks and paperwork.

Requirements include a full UK licence (max 6 points), valid CPC and Digi Tacho card, and no disqualifying convictions. Prior dustcart experience is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• CPC and Digi Tacho card are required.
• No DD, DR or IN convictions on licence.
• Previous dustcart experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 dustcart around Basildon and surrounding areas.
• Collect refuse/recycling from designated locations and dispose at approved sites.
• Carry out daily vehicle inspections and complete relevant paperwork.
• Drive/Load as directed.

Job description

Prism 7 are currently looking for Class 2 Refuse Drivers for an ongoing role based in Basildon, starting ASAP.

This is a Monday to Friday position, working days will be a 7:15am start with various finish times. Despite finishing early on some days, you will still be paid a set 7.25 hours a day. There will also be the occasional Saturday work that you will be required to work if there is a Bank Holiday (this will be paid at a time and a half rate).

Role

• Driving a class 2 dustcart around various areas of Basildon.
• Collecting refuse/recycling from requested locations and dispose of at the appropriate waste collection sites (mainly via dustcart but may include other vehicles).
• Carrying out daily vehicle inspections and complete appropriate paperwork.
• Drive / Load as directed.
