Job Description

Refuse Lorry – HGV 2 – Immediate Start

We are seeking refuse truck drivers for local area routes. As a professional driver, you will operate the rear steer vehicle in residential areas, demonstrating politeness and patience. Your daily responsibilities include collecting household waste and recycling alongside your team of loaders. Support with loading may occasionally be required, emphasizing the importance of being a team player.

Duration: This role offers ongoing work with an immediate start for the right candidate.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: £14.36, with overtime pay of £21.54 after 37.5 hours.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 14:30.

Closing Date: 2025-05-18

Experience & Qualifications

Experience supporting the local community on bin rounds is preferred.

This role requires previous HGV 2 experience, a valid Digi card, and CPC certification. Applicants must have no more than 6 points on their license and no DD, DR, or IN codes.
