Job Description

We are seeking HGV 2 refuse lorry drivers in Swadlincote. The role involves driving rear steer vehicles in residential areas, collecting household waste and recycling alongside a team of loaders. Candidates should be professional, polite, patient, and capable of supporting loading tasks as needed.

Duration: Ongoing with an immediate start for suitable candidates.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: £14.36, with overtime pay of £21.54 for hours worked beyond 37.5 hours.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 14:30.

Experience & Qualifications

This role requires previous HGV 2 experience, a valid Digi card, and CPC certification. Candidates must have no more than 6 points on their license and no DD/DR/IN codes.
