Job summary

IDrive Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a confident Class 2 driver for a delivery role in and around London, including Enfield. The position is Mon-Fri with alternate Saturdays.

Applicants must hold a UK driving licence with CPC/Tachograph cards and have right to work in the UK. You will be responsible for safe vehicle operation, on-time deliveries, and reporting any safety issues to dispatchers. The role includes completing thorough vehicle inspections, adhering to company policies, and maintaining

Qualifications

• UK Driving Licence and CPC/Tachograph cards are required.
• Right to work in the UK is required.
• Experience operating a HGV2 vehicle in a safe manner is required.

Responsibilities

• Confident Class 2 driver.
• Carry out complete pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections.
• Report safety issues on standard reports.
• Follow delivery schedules and interact with dispatchers to deliver to a high standard.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Job description

We are currently seeking a CLASS 2 Driver in and around London for a delivery job in enfield.

Mon-Fri. Alternate saturdays

You need:

• UKDriving Licence
• CPC and TACHO cards
• Right to work
• Reliable and a good timekeeper
• Experience of operating a hgv2 in safe manner

Expectations:

• Confident Class 2 driver
• Able to perform a complete pre and post-operation inspection of the vehicle as required by company policy checking tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges and controls are in good working order.
• Able to report any safety issues on standard reports
• Able to follow instructions and the delivery schedule and confident to interact with dispatchers to complete the job to a high standard
• Follow all required safety policies and procedures

Pay rates

£16 PAYE

Min 8 or 10 hours guaranteed
