Job summary

Driver Require are recruiting HGV Class 2 drivers for GXO Logistics in Swadlincote, England. This ongoing, year‑round role offers a temp to perm path for the right candidates and welcomes newly qualified drivers after induction and required training.

Shifts run 03:00–07:00, with 1 weekend day, and you will deliver to well known high street stores. Offloading involves cages via tail lift, with double manned training until you’re cleared to drive solo.

Qualifications

• Must have HGV Class 2 licence or be newly qualified.
• Able to work 03:00–07:00 shifts and 5 days out of 7.

Salary: GBP14.9 - GBP16.45 per hour

Driver Require are looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers for our client, GXO Logistics based in Swadlincote. This position is ongoing work, all year round with opportunity for Temp to Perm for the right candidates. This is a great opportunity to break in to the industry and get a head start in your new career!

Our client will also accept newly qualified HGV drivers! Once inducted, you will need to complete a set amount of double manned training shifts before working solo (amount of training shifts depends on induction / driving assessment).

Experience preferred but will take new passes.

PAYE Pay Rate:

Pay Rate: (inclusive of holiday pay)

The Job:

• Will except new passes
• Any 5 out of 7 days
• 03:00 - 07:00 starts
• Must be able to work 1 day on the weekend
• Deliveries to well known high street stores
• You will need to offload cages, using a tail lift
• Once inducted, double manned training shifts (route planning etc) will be offered until the driver / trainer signs you off to go solo
